The Role

We are looking for a mid-level Project Manager with experience in custom software development and professional services consulting. This is a hands-on, client-facing role, driving successful engagements. You’ll also play a critical role in shaping how ETG operates by strengthening our project management processes and ensuring consistency across teams.

Success in this role comes down to clear communication and strong organization. You’ll bring structure and clarity to every engagement, keeping projects on track and giving stakeholders confidence in the timeline, resourcing, budget, and results.

We are a remote-first company that primarily operates on EST.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of client software and technology consulting projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met and that changes in scope/timeline are quickly identified and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with ETG’s sales team to ensure smooth handoff from sales engineering through delivery, keeping client expectations aligned throughout.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, managing expectations, and escalating risks when needed.
  • Work directly with engineers, architects, and consultants to create and execute project plans.
  • Implement, refine, and improve ETG’s project management processes to increase efficiency and consistency across engagements.
  • Manage project artifacts including schedules, sprint boards, risk logs, and status reports.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies as appropriate.
  • Ensure that requirements are well-documented, understood, and validated by both clients and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives that support ETG’s growth and operational maturity.

About you:

  • 5-15 years of experience in project management, ideally within a professional services or technology consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated success leading simultaneous software development projects from pre-sales through deployment.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience working with distributed/remote engineering teams.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile delivery models.
  • Attributes: high-agency, growth mindset, and adaptability.
  • We are only able to consider candidates who are already authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Extra Credit:

  • Familiarity with healthcare, health insurance, or related industries.
  • Hands-on technical background such as experience coding or designing applications.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
  • 100% remote.
